About the Creator

DeAnna Monroe has been a staple in the hair industry for about 10 years. She grew up finding ways to creatively do her own hair which eventually led to her doing others'. Although she's obtained several degrees, her passion for creativity and hair has never left. Queen's Protective Styling started out as a side hustle back in 2014 but over the years it grew and she became known as the best crochet braid artist in the St. Louis/Metropolitan area. Not only is she deemed a "CroSlayer," but she's been praised for her care of hair itself. 

It's never just been about the style for DeAnna. She's always cared about hair health as well. Society has taught us that silky curly hair is good hair but her motto has always been that "Healthy Hair is GOOD Hair!" And she stands on that. So naturally, in 2019, she created her own hair care line. Each product is handmade with intentional natural ingredients that has benefited so many over the years.

DeAnna vows to continue her work in hair care while trying to change the narrative as to what good hair really is. She encourages everyone with kinks and coils to love on the texture they naturally grow, especially when under a protective style. As always, she appreciates the continued support and you joining the mission of healthy hair.
